  • Objectives & Challenges

    To ensure the continuous and uninterrupted businesses and services, Shandong Airlines, in the first priority, need a stable and secure system with disaster recovery ability, for both its call center (service center) and internal telephone system. The normal firewall can’t offer protection to the IP telephony system, leaving the system under huge risks of intrusion of services, eavesdropping, denial of service attacks, data interceptions, toll frauds, SIP malformed packets etc. These risks can’t be ignored.
    Secondly, communications between different branches should be more efficient, yet facing the problems of multiple and complex network environments, multiple venders of different PBX, phones and IP phones resulting in diverse SIP protocols and voice codecs.
    The third key point is traffic control on voice, utilize the network and bandwidth resources in a better way
